Belarusian Authorities Left Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk Behind Bars

Two days before her release, she was transferred somewhere.
Political prisoner, activist of the European Belarus Civil Campaign Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk was not released from the colony on the appointed date.
As her husband, Andrei Sharenda, an activist of the European Belarus Civil Campaign, wrote on Facebook, on May 19, Palina was transferred somewhere from the prison #24. Her current location are now being concealed.
Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk was detained on January 3, 2021. The enforcers broke down the door of the apartment, conducted an inspection, confiscated a number of things, and Palina was detained and handcuffed and taken to the detention facility. Later, she was transferred to a pre-trial detention center.
On June 9, 2021, the court of the Maskouski district of Brest sentenced her to two years in prison.
In the spring of 2022, she was not released, a criminal case was opened against Palina under Part 1 of Art. 411 of the Criminal Code and awarded an additional year in prison.
But in the spring of 2023, she was not released: under Article 411, the political prisoner received one more year in prison. Over the years, she was placed in jail several times, and also sent to solitary confinement for six months. Palina is completely isolated. In the prison, the activist of the European Belarus suffered a serious deterioration in her health.
Recently, she was serving a sentence in a prison in Zarechcha, Rechytsa district.
