There are lethal cases.

In Russian-occupied Mariupol, 12 Russian soldiers died from watermelon poisoning, four are in hospital.

According to Russian propaganda channels, last week local residents treated them to watermelons with doses of arsenic with the words:

“That's for you, guys! Thank you for protecting us.” The occupiers ate the donated berries, which, according to Russian propaganda, were poisoned by Ukrainian saboteurs. The FSB is allegedly conducting an investigation into the incident.

Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko responded to this message. He neither refuted nor confirmed this information, writing “we’re just working.”
