Any aggression will not go unanswered.
The Israeli military attacked the port of Al-Hudaydah in Yemen. According to the Israel Defence Forces, their "fighters struck military targets of the terrorist regime of the Houthis." After that, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning to the enemies of his country.
As Netanyahu noted, the attack on Yemen is Israel's response to the drone attack that killed an Israeli citizen and injured eight civilians. The decision to attack the port of Al-Hudaydah was made personally by the Prime Minister. He was supported by the military-political cabinet of the country.
“From the very beginning of the war, I have made it clear that Israel will strike anyone who harms it. The port we attacked is not a civilian port. It was used for military purposes, used as a point of entry for deadly weapons supplied to the Houthis by Iran," Netanyahu said.
According to the Prime Minister, the fact that the targets were hit 1,800 km from the Israeli border is a confirmation that "there is no place where the long arm of Israel could not reach."
This drone strike is not an isolated incident. Over the past eight months, the Houthis have launched hundreds of drones and missiles against Israel. True, almost all Houthi air attacks were successfully intercepted by Israeli defence systems.
But the last blow brought death to an Israeli. Therefore, Israel retaliated. And Netanyahu stressed that such answers will be given to all enemies of his country.
“I have a message for Israel's enemies: Make no mistake about us. We will defend ourselves by all means on all fronts. Anyone who harms us will pay a very high price for their aggression,” Netanyahu warned.
