The innovation will come into force on November 1.

The government of Belarus is further expanding the regulation of prices for paid medical services. This is provided by the Council of Ministers' resolution № 596 of August 15, which was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on Friday.

A new item - ‘appointments (consultations) of specialist doctors’ - is introduced to the list of paid medical services, the tariffs for which are regulated by the Ministry of Health in coordination with the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.

Thus, now private medical clinics will not be able to charge a price for a regular doctor's appointment on their own.

The innovation will come into force from November 1, 2024.
