Israel Strikes Senior Hamas Commanders In Gaza

The Israeli military said it successfully struck senior Hamas commanders operating in a command center located inside the humanitarian zone in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis.

Reuters reported.

However, the names of the killed Hamas commanders were not made public.

"These terrorists were directly involved in the October 7 assassinations and had recently carried out terrorist activity," the IDF said.

These were reportedly the targets of the Hamas air force and the surveillance and targeting unit.

The Israeli military also stressed that the casualty figures released by the Hamas-run authorities in Gaza do not match the IDF's information, particularly given the precision of the munitions and the strike.
