Bonuses were cut by 30%.
Two sources have informed Flagshtok about the fall in wages at the Mazyr refinery.
Before the end of the year the workers' bonuses were cut by 30%. Before that, the salary was made up of 100% of the tariff and 100% of the bonus. The cut in bonuses took place from August 2024. Previously, in the worst times for the plant, bonuses were cut by a maximum of 20%.
In practice, this means that an employee who previously received a salary of 1,000 rubles and a bonus of 1,000 rubles will now be deprived of 30% of the bonus (300 rubles).
It should be noted that the average salary at the Mazyr oil refinery today is one of the highest in Homel region. On average, it amounted to about Br3,500 in 2024.
We remind you, the Mazyr refinery has been suffering huge losses since the beginning of 2024. The situation worsened after the hurricane, which swept over the territory of Homel region on July 14, 2024. The refinery was left without power supply because of the collapse of a power line.
Later it became known about the reduced production as a result of the energy blackout caused by the collapse of power lines. Now the employees of the plant will also feel the consequences.
