He made strange statements to students.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov unexpectedly appeared in public after rumors of his death and made several loud statements. He spoke to students and teachers of Moscow University, talking about "unfriendly steps," the protection of maritime supplies, and the safety of nuclear power plants.
This was reported by Russian media. However, it remains unclear why Lavrov chose students as the audience for his statements.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the country is open to contacts with Western nations, but will respond harshly to "unfriendly steps."
"In the spring, Turkey tried to renew agreements on the protection of maritime food supplies, Russia was ready for this. During negotiations with Turkey on the safety of commercial shipping, Kyiv proposed to include a clause on the safety of nuclear power plants in the document, Russia was ready to agree to this proposal, but later Kyiv itself refused it," Lavrov said.
Let us recall that the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Security Council, Serhiy Kyslytsya, previously hinted at the possible death of Lavrov.
