What is it and where was it located?
There is one less settlement in Belarus — the village of Vysoti in the Vitebsk region has ceased to exist this year, the Blizko.by portal writes citing the information bulletin of the Belgeodeziya company.
The decision to “close” the village of Vysoti was made on June 28, but it became known only now, in September. This is the first and so far the only disappearance of a settlement this year.
In the “List of names of geographical objects that have ceased to exist”, under No. 4943 it is indicated that the village called Vysoti in the Pervamaiski village council of the Haradok district of the Vitebsk region no longer exists.
According to the General Staff map for 1980, about 40 people lived in the village. It was located on high hills among the forests.
